Here at Retro-E we strive to bring you timeless style and endless quality through eco-friendly practices. Sustainability is a major priority for us. We are working towards this through many means including recycling our manufacturing waste into a dense, quality stuffing for pillows, and recycling many vintage fabrics and trims into new creations. We only employ a local workforce with many of our sewers working from their own homes on their own schedules allowing them to manage a family and work to support it. We believe using a local workforce is important to build a strong community, and helps in other ways to be eco-friendly. At Retro-E we have a very strong work ethic starting with our owner Sarah Mortensen who leads by example. Keeping things fun and light-hearted is equally important to us, as we believe this is essential to a good business and promotes creativity. Creating the feeling of quality, environmentally friendliness, style, and all round good-karma should radiate from our products if we truly believe in our philosophies. After all, if YOU don’t stand by your moral beliefs, who will?
